Schools Liaison and Access
At our University Centre, we’re dedicated to widening participation and creating pathways into higher education for learners from all backgrounds. Through partnerships with local secondary schools, colleges and community organisations, our outreach team supports students, parents, and advisors with information and guidance.
What we offer
School and college visits
Our team visits schools and colleges to deliver workshops, careers talks, and higher education guidance sessions. We can attend careers fairs, assemblies, or open events.
On campus experiences and taster sessions
We welcome individuals to our University Centre for open events, information evenings and taster sessions. You’ll have a chance to explore our state-of-the-art facilities and engage with staff and current students to get a true feel for higher education with us.
Resources for schools, parents and advisors
We offer downloadable guides covering the UCAS process, personal statements, student finance, and university life. Printed prospectuses are also available.
