HND Animal Management
The Pearson BTEC Level 5 Higher National Diploma in Animal Management (Animal Behaviour and Welfare) is designed to equip students with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills essential for careers in animal management, welfare, and rehabilitation.

ANIMAL CARE TECHNICIAN
Salary: £13,000-£40,000+
Responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of animals under their supervision. This role typically involves providing daily care such as feeding, cleaning, grooming, and monitoring animals, while also assisting veterinarians, researchers, or shelter staff with treatments and medical procedures.

ZOO KEEPER
Salary: £16,000-£40,000+
Responsible for the daily care and wellbeing of animals in a zoo or wildlife park. Duties include feeding, cleaning enclosures, monitoring animal health and behavior, and supporting breeding and enrichment programs.

CONSERVATIONIST
Salary: £15,000-£45,000+
Works to protect, manage, and restore natural habitats, wildlife, and ecosystems. They may conduct field research, monitor species and environmental changes, and develop strategies to reduce human impact on nature.
