The BSc (Hons) Digital User Experience Design course prepares you to thrive in the fast-evolving world of digital innovation. You will develop the practical skills, creative mindset, and technical knowledge to design user-centred digital products that are accessible, usable, and enjoyable. The course combines principles from psychology, design, research, and technology, allowing you to understand how people interact with digital systems and how to improve those experiences. 

You will gain hands-on experience using a wide range of digital tools and technologies, including virtual, augmented, and mixed reality, through our on-site immersive XR Lab. Optional placements, projects, exhibitions, and competitions will allow you to apply your learning in real-world settings, build a professional portfolio, and develop the confidence to shape the future of digital innovation. 

The programme equips you with the expertise to pursue careers in UX design, interaction design, digital product development, and other roles within the digital technology sector. 

Lecturing staff hold qualifications across computer science, graphic design, business management, and games technology.

Assessment Method: projects, report, technical documentation, testing, marketing/PR, research/design document, specifications, portfolio, review, reflection, dissertation. Teaching method: Campus, 2 full days/week; lectures, seminars, case-study, discussions, workshops + XR Lab/placements/projects.

English language requirements: IELTS (Academic) Grade 6 IELTS 6.0 overall (minimum 5.5 in all components).
