Course overview
The BSc (Hons) Psychology degree offers a thorough introduction to the scientific study of mind and behaviour. You will gain a strong grounding in core areas of psychology and develop the skills needed to understand, evaluate and conduct research. Throughout the course you will explore how psychological theories are applied in real world contexts, from mental health and education to social and organisational settings.
Alongside subject knowledge you will build a wide range of transferable academic and personal skills that are valued by employers. These include critical thinking, data analysis, time management, teamwork and the confidence to communicate your ideas through written work and presentations.
You will study in our modern University and Professional Development Centre in Bury St Edmunds, part of West Suffolk College and Eastern Education Group.
