The HNC in E-Sports Production course is designed for students looking to build a career in the fast-growing esports and digital media industries. It offers a clear progression route for Level 3 E-Sports students, as well as new opportunities for Access to Higher Education or adult learners with an interest in broadcasting, content creation, and live event production. 

The course develops practical skills in areas such as event management, creative broadcasting, branding and sponsorship, content creation, and on-air presentation. You will gain hands-on experience in the college’s state-of-the-art XR Lab, a specialist facility designed for esports production, where you will work with industry-standard tools and software. 

A strong emphasis is placed on real-world application. You will have opportunities to plan and deliver grassroots esports events, working with local schools and the wider community. With a focus on employability, professional networking, and practical experience, the course prepares you for roles such as event manager, broadcast producer, content creator, and presenter, while also developing transferable skills relevant to media production and digital marketing. 

Graduates of HNC E-Sports Production can progress to HND E-Sports Production, or various rewarding careers in the e-sports industry. Typical careers could include:
