The BSc (Hons) Interactive and Immersive Technology degree prepares you to design, develop, and produce cutting-edge digital experiences across a wide range of industries. You will learn to build interactive worlds, simulations, and applications using industry-standard software such as Unreal Engine, Unity, Visual Studio, Maya, and Substance.
With the use of our cutting-edge XR Lab, the course offers flexibility to specialise in areas such as Development (Coding), Design, E-sports, or Content Creation. You will study modules covering multi-user experiences, the Internet of Things, world design, and playability, giving you the skills to create engaging, immersive, and interactive digital environments.
Through projects, exhibitions, competitions, and optional placements, you will apply your skills to real-world challenges, preparing you for careers in interactive entertainment, computing, digital technology, automotive, healthcare, and other industries where immersive solutions and virtual modelling are increasingly in demand.
